Welcome to the home page of the Melbourne Aikido dojo. We are an exclusive club dedicated to the in depth study of Yoshinkan Aikido as taught by Takeno Takafumi Sensei (9th Dan) in Japan. There are only three schools in the world that teach this very unique and effective style of Aikido. The Melbourne Aikido dojo is the only dojo outside of Japan where students can practice this incredible art. Chief instructor Sensei Peter Koussoulis (4th Dan), is the only westerner licensed by Takeno Takafumi Sensei to teach this traditional style.
